In September 2010, Vicom completed the audio-visual
design and integration solution for the new "Seal
Heritage Center" at JEB Little Creek Naval
Base. Vicom provided a large auditorium/theater
with a 17'6" wide rear screen powered by dual
6000-lumen edge blended projectors. Each projector
has a resolution higher than 1080p.
The auditorium will be used to support the Special
Warfare community by hosting conferences, seminars,
training events and team building events. The ability
to watch Bluray movies and HDTV programming was
also provided.
Control of all system components was provided through
a Crestron in-wall wireless touch panel system.
The room also hosts a 7.1 surround sound system
driven by JBL commercial speakers and nearly 6000-watts
of Crown power amplifiers.

Presenters have the ability to display up to four
images simultaneously on the large screen with different
background effects. A large American Flag background
is shown in the photo above.
Vicom also designed and
installed a large executive conference room with
custom AV furniture, a large event hall, an activity
room, several digital signage displays, and office
TVs throughout the facility.

braved and even embraced the cold, wet and dark,
and who have faced our enemies with almost unbelievable
courage" Admiral Eric Olson, commander of the
