Vicom Case Studies
June 2010 - As one of the more forward thinking
school systems, York County School Division IT department
was presented with a slow wireless system in their
K- 12.
June 2010 - A DREAM IS REALIZED.. A PROJECT STARTED
After 2 years of planning, budgeting and designing,
Vicom was awarded the contract to make New Horizon
Education Center’s technology dreams become
a reality.
In February of 2010, Vicom was awarded the audio-visual
solution for the new NETWARCOM Flag Briefing Room
at the headquarters in Norfolk, VA.
In January of 2009, Vicom was selected as the AV
integrator for CIRI’s executive & corporate
board room renovation. Vicom provided consultation,
an extensive design and a professional installation
for the two rooms.
In 2008, Vicom provided a complete audio-visual
solution for the new Military Sealift Command’s
Norfolk, VA headquarters.
VICOM, Virginia Integrated Communication of Virginia
Beach, VA was commissioned as the integrator for
the Audio-Visual and IP Telephony technologies
for the project. Vicom has provided these solutions
for several other Alutiiq locations within the
United States. For this project Vicom provided
an Avaya IP Telephony solution for the entire building
along with the audio-visual integration for six
areas.
In May of 2008 Vicom was selected as the Audio,
Video and Lighting Contractor for Faith Alive Ministries
for their sanctuary expansion.
